My pottery emerges out of a lifelong love of nature and all things magical. As a child, I was never without a sketchbook, filling the pages with unicorns, dragons, and enchanted forests. That sense of wonder still guides me today, inspiring the handmade pottery I create in my Florida studio.

I design and handcraft each piece from start to finish. Every item is one-of-a-kind, using tropical, equestrian, and magical motifs with a touch of wabi-sabi—finding beauty in imperfection and the unexpected.

Living in Florida, I’m lucky to be surrounded by inspiration every day. Great blue herons, egrets, and wood storks frequently visit my backyard, and their presence often finds its way into my pottery designs.

Before founding Island Girl Pottery, I spent many years as an artist with Walt Disney Feature Animation and as an Art Director for magazines and publishing. Today, I pour that experience into creating whimsical, functional, and decorative ceramics that bring a little bit of magic and nature into everyday life.
